HOW ARE TRIFECTAS CALCULATED?
The easiest way to answer this question is to say that the Trifecta dividend is approximately equal to the WIN dividends of the three place getters multiplied together. For example, if the first three past the post are 4, 9, 2 the Trifecta is calculated by first multiplying the WIN dividends of the three runner.
